re Diane Duke stepping down from the industry trade organization, Free Speech Coalition (FSC):

“The same people in the FSC have been fighting for years — and the community thinks ‘Oh, they’ve managed to hold it off [several] times before, so we’re going to stop paying attention to it,'” said Chauntelle Tibbals, PhD, a former visiting scholar at the University of Southern California (USC) and author of Exposure: A Sociologist Explores Sex, Society, and Adult Entertainment.

“I think that’s the wrong approach. I’m very concerned with Diane Duke stepping down. She’s a very controversial figure in the industry for a number of reasons, but she’s a leader and she has managed to keep all of that together and be a front facing person.”
